Nvidia has shifted some of its artificial intelligence server production orders from manufacturing partner Wistron to Foxconn’s subsidiary018 Archives due to the Wistron’s insufficient production capacity, according to an August 3 report from The Paper. The move involves approximately 10% of the orders for printed circuit boards used in the Nvidia A100 Tensor Core GPU to Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII), according to The Paper, citing suppliers familiar with the matter. Currently, FII has not responded to the news. However, Wistron stated that its order volume remains unchanged and that it is actively expanding its production facilities. [The Paper, in Chinese]
